Thief steals fish from award-winning restaurant

A CHEF is appealing for information after a thief stole fish worth £200 from his restaurant.

Shaun Dickens, of Shaun Dickens at the Boathouse in Station Road, said the incident happened at about 6.30am this morning (Friday).

Mr Dickens said red mullet, smoked eel, tuna, mackerel, salmon and skate and were taken and has released CCTV pictures.

The man was wearing a red hoodie, black trousers, trainers, glasses and picked up boxes containing the fish from the back of the kitchen door before walking off towards Mill Meadows.

Anyone with information should call Thames Valley Police on 101.
