A NEW fashion boutique is coming to Henley.
VH & Co is to take over the former Hubbledays premises in Duke Street, which closed in August, and will open in February next year.
Its sister store Vinegar Hill is next door.
It will be the company’s third fashion store in the UK with the others in Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham.
Managing director Richard Austin said: “We’re really pleased with how Vinegar Hill has been trading and we are enjoying being in Henley.
“We’ve been running the fashion side of the business for quite a few years and we feel there is a bit of gap with what we’re doing and what’s on offer in Henley.”
The premises will be refitted in December and January.
Gifts and homeware chain Vinegar Hill opened its ninth store in the former Browns furniture shop in May last year.
Mr Austin launched the business with his sisters, Beth and Debbie, in 1995.
He said he had been looking to open a Vinegar Hill store in Henley for about three years.
He said: “The demographic of the town is a good fit for us. A good occupancy rate is a good sign.”
