DOG-OWNERS can enter their pets into the Companion Dog Show at the showground tomorrow (Saturday).
Entries will be taken on the day from 11.30am, with judging starting at 1pm.
There are two categories in this year’s competition. A pedigree section will take place in ring one and a novelty section in ring two.
In the pedigree section there are seven classes — veteran (aged seven-plus), brace, puppy (six months to one year), non-sporting, sporting, open, best child handler (age six to 16).
In the novelty section there are six classes — cutest puppy (six to 12 months), best crossbreed, waggiest tail, top dog, prettiest bitch and judge’s choice.
