Hidden Henley

THIS is the mausoleum built in 1750 for John Freeman, the then owner of Fawley Court, at Fawley churchyard.

THIS is the mausoleum built in 1750 for John Freeman, the then owner of Fawley Court, at Fawley churchyard.

The building has an octagonal base with a gated door through which you can peer into the vaults, a circular tower and dome.

The brick and flint building in the background is the former school dating from 1850.
