AN exhibition promoting First World War poet Wilfred Owen’s connection to Dunsden will be held next month.
He lived in Dunsden from September 1911 until February 1913 and was a lay assistant to the vicar of All Saints’ Church.
The Dunsden Owen Association will curate the show, which will be held at the village hall from November 7 to 9.
The group and arts company Outrider Anthems received a grant of £22,800 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to stage a series of events this year, which marked the centenary of the start of the war.
The exhibition will use local archives, letters from Owen and oral histories of residents who had family in the village at the time he lived in Dunsden.
