HENLEY LADIES 3rds shared the points as they drew away to league leaders Oxford Hawks 4ths on Saturday.
Rhea Semister and Karen Roseff worked well together, playing centrally for the visitors which allowed the attackers to be easily brought into the game leaving space to exploit and drive at the defence.
With good close stick control and speed, the attackers, led by Roseff, left the defence often diving in too quickly and fouling. With the umpires playing good advantage, the attacks continued, often ending up with short corners or fouls outside the attacking circle.
The game flowed freely with the ball being switched by both teams at speed. Henley began to grow in confidence as time went on and good link up play between the wide players and the forwards led to the first Henley short corner being awarded.
