HENLEY LADIES 1sts Serena Hickman celebrated her birthday in style as she netted a hat-trick to help her side defeat Brighton and Hove at Jubilee Park on Saturday.
With a bright start to the game Henley were an attacking force. They hassled the Brighton players, giving them little time on the ball and attacked at pace when opportunity arose.
It was from one of these counterattacks that the ball came up the right hand side to hit the forwards where Hickman was on target as she netted the ball to put Henley into an early lead.
Henley continued to pile on the pressure and it was from a short corner that the hosts doubled their lead.
A left slip to Kat Green saw a well disguised ball slotted goal wards and for Jem Barham to score with a deft touch.
