Pensioner threatened with knife

A PENSIONER was threatened with a knife outside the Co-Op in Sonning Common.

The offender got into the 78-year-old man’s vehicle at about 5.30pm last Tuesday (14) and asked him to drive down Wood Lane.

The victim drove metres down the road to the village hall and asked the man to leave his car.

The man refused and the offender pulled out a knife, which he threatened the pensioner with.

The victim then left his vehicle and walked towards the shop to ask for help.

The offender then left the car and walked down Wood Lane in the direction of Kennylands Road.

Pc Susan Bradshaw said: “I am appealing for information about this incident and would like to speak to the man in these images, who may have vital information about the incident.

“If you know this man or have any other information about this incident please call me via the Thames Valley Police non-enquiry centre 101.”
