Look out for 'what's on' at wool specialists

Look out for 'what's on' at wool specialists

ALL about the Wool proprietor Karen Golding has been in Wallingford since September and has gone from strength to strength.

We stock Sirdar, King Cole and Jamieson and Smith wools with a few guest suppliers such as locally grown wool from Cholsey.

We hold regular crochet and knitting classes and will be diversifying to wet felting and yarn spinning after Christmas. We have a regular ‘What’s On’ displayed in our shop window. Currently we are looking to fill a Knit and Natter group on a Monday, and Knitting for Charity group on a Tuesday.

We are very fortunate to have two small workshops out the back of the shop and we want to utilise these as much as possible, so if your group is small and looking for a space, why not come in and see? We also run a knitting/
crochet clinic every Saturday from 1pm. Karen shares the premises with Creative Keepsake Cards and Gifts, who make cards in a variety of styles, for any occasion. All cards can be customised as required, including wedding stationery. This side of the business is run by Joan Clare and she will be holding card-making classes in the near future.
