TWO sixth form students from Caversham’s Queen Anne’s School have represented England at the U19 Lacrosse Festival in Oshawa, Canada.

The festival was played in conjunction with the 2013 Women’s Lacrosse World Cup, run by the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL).

Harriet Foster, 17, from Upper Basildon, and Jessica De Mulder, 16, from Caversham, were included in the two U19 England teams sent to Canada to play in four warm-up games and six festival games.

Foster, who captained one of the England teams, and De Mulder both scored goals helping their team to win four of their six festival games whilst playing in temperatures of more than 30 degrees.

England are now ranked fourth in the world following a close defeat by Australia for the Bronze medal position.
