LOVERS of all things Italian, those fascinated by history and anyone who enjoys a really interesting

LOVERS of all things Italian, those fascinated by history and anyone who enjoys a really interesting read can hear historian and broadcaster John Julius Norwich talk about his new book at The Watermill Theatre next week.

John, who has published 10 books, edited many more and has made 30 historical documentary films for the BBC, is the guest author in the theatre’s series of book club events which are open to everyone.

He will speak on Wednesday at 1.30pm about his latest book, Sicily, a lavishly illustrated history that was 50 years in the making, of the Mediterranean’s largest and most turbulent island. He will also sign copies which will be on sale at the theatre.

The restaurant will be open from noon so you can have lunch, while afternoon tea will be served afterwards. Please make a reservation when booking your tickets, which cost £6.

There is no joining fee to join the The Watermill Book Club and no need to read the books in advance.

Book online at www.watermill.org.uk or call 01635 46044.
