Robinson out in front

LEO ROBINSON continues his strong form in rounds five and six of the MSA Bambino Championship.

LEO ROBINSON continues his strong form in rounds five and six of the MSA Bambino Championship.

Round five was held at the challenging Glan-y-gors circuit near Snowdonia National Park.

Leo was clearly the fastest driver in wet conditions in practice and on race day, although it was dry, he drove well, winning two of the three heats and qualifying in first position for the final.

He then became involved in a close race with two other competitors and eventually finished the race meeting in second place overall.

Round six was held at Rowrah in the Lake District. Again Leo won two of the three heats and qualified in first position for the final. Leo started well but failed to stay ahead of the chasing field, eventually finishing in second position again.

Due to his consistent form, Leo maintains his lead in the championship and, with one round left, he is guaranteed to finish the season in at least second place.
