Leo leads the way

LEO ROBINSON completed a clean sweep of both the rookie and novice classes in the second

LEO ROBINSON completed a clean sweep of both the rookie and novice classes in the second round of the Bambino Karting Championship at Little Rissington in Gloucestershire.

The year one Rupert House pupil from Lambridge Wood Road in Henley qualified in 11th position for the final and then progressed through the field to finish in seventh overall at a circuit that he had never been to before.

The Bambino Championship is run by the Motor Sports Association for six to eight-year-olds and is the first official rung on the motor sports ladder.

Robinson, who was six just a few weeks before the first round, is the youngest driver in the competition. Despite this, he leads his class comfortably and lies seventh out of 25 in the overall standings.
