SIX-YEAR-OLD Leo Robinson won his class again at the third round of the National Bambino Karting
SIX-YEAR-OLD Leo Robinson won his class again at the third round of the National Bambino Karting Championship at Shennington, near Banbury, last weekend.
Robinson, from Lambridge Wood Road in Henley, drove smoothly at speeds up to 45mph on the high speed airfield circuit, progressing through three heats to start in fifth position for the final in the event for six to eight-year-olds.
Although he lost one place, sixth position out of 25 earned him sufficient points to extend his championship lead in the novice class for drivers in their first year of racing.
The next round of the championship will be at Larkhall in Scotland on July 11.
