HENLEY’S Leo Robinson achieved his best result to date in the MSA Bambino championship which supported the premier Super One karting series at Larkhall near Glasgow last weekend.
Robinson, the youngest competitor in the tournament aged just six, raced well in damp conditions in the heats at the challenging circuit which he had never been to before.
After three rounds the Rupert House pupil qualified in sixth position for the final. A set—up change for the dry conditions allowed him to show his full potential, progressing through the field to finish third out of the 21 competitors and the best placed rookie. Robinson collected two trophies and further extended his championship lead in the novice class.
