Rare Mustang under hammer

AN original 1964 Ford Mustang 1/2 Coupe, one of the first Mustangs ever produced, will go under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions’ Sale on May 24.

The very rare car, estimated between £14,000 to £18,000, was built at Ford’s Dearborn Michigan plant. It still houses its original 260CI V8 Engine and Cruise-O-Matic transmission.

Its first owner, Alan G Winslow of Virginia, ordered a unique array of factory-fitted options including power steering, power brakes, rally-pac and AM radio with rear speaker with a rare Studio Sonic Sound System. It is presented in a wonderful colour combination of Rangoon Red with Red Beauty interior. with fully documented history.
