SKODA has recorded its best ever six-month sales period in the UK, with 39,176 new cars registered from January to June.
Compared to a figure of 32,384 units for the same period last year, it means growth of 21 per cent and gives the brand a market share of three per cent.
Strong demand for Skoda’s vehicles during June made a key contribution to the success. The brand registered 6,477 new cars last month, up from 6,361 in 2013.
A STANDARD British-registered Mercedes-Benz E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID has driven from Africa to the UK non-stop on one tank of fuel.
