A MUSICAL revue featuring songs from some of the most iconic Broadway and West End shows
A MUSICAL revue featuring songs from some of the most iconic Broadway and West End shows is returning to the Kenton Theatre for the second year in a row — but with an all-new setlist.
After proving a huge hit with audiences — including in Henley in April last year — Some Enchanted Evening is back at the New Street venue on Thursday, July 14.
The show matches established singers with professional and West End experience with songs from such hit musicals as South Pacific, Oklahoma, Wicked, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia! and many more.
Audiences leave with a smile on their face and a song in their heart.
Produced by Grant Koper Ltd, the show was first performed in 2013 on a short tour taking in Gainsborough, Grantham and South London. The following year it played at the Criterion Music Hall in Sheerness.
Spring of last year saw the show embark on its first national tour — following the success of which it is touring again from July to September — starting with the Kenton Theatre date.
Cast member Matt Colyer said: “It’s so exciting to be a part of this show. The reviews from last year were amazing and the show just gets better and better. The setlist this year is completely new, so anyone who has seen the show before can enjoy songs we’ve not performed before.”
Producer Grant Koper added: “It’s wonderful to see the show grow from a small idea we had a few years ago into this fantastic production playing to audiences around the country.”
The Kenton show starts at 7.30pm and runs for 120 minutes, including an interval.
Tickets are priced £16 for adults with concessions available at £15. To book, call (01491) 575698 or visit www.kentontheatre.co.uk
