FOUR years on from their critically acclaimed album Broken Down Gentlemen, pioneering “bloke folk” trio Faustus are back.

Their third album, Death and Other Animals, is out today (Friday) and on Monday the band celebrate with a concert at Nettlebed Village Club — the second in a 15-date October UK tour.

Faustus are Paul Sartin, Benji Kirkpatrick and Saul Rose. The year to date has seen them welcomed as artists in residence at Halsway Manor in Somerset, the national centre for folk arts, where they have enjoyed unlimited access to the extensive library

Monday’s concert starts at 8pm. Tickets are £13.50 in advance and can be booked by calling 01628 636620 or by visiting the club’s website at www.nettlebedfolkclub.co.uk
