BILLED as Britain’s number one theatre organist, Phil Kelsall MBE will be in concert at Henley town hall on Sunday afternoon.
The resident organist at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom — famed as the home of ballroom dancing — Mr Kelsall will be coming south as the guest of the Henley and District Theatre Organ Trust.
The trust’s chairman Gordon Mintern said an afternoon of foot-tapping music coupled with mirth and wit was in store.
He added: “It is hard to realise Phil is still only in his late forties and has truly mastered this instrument of his choice.
“A lively welcome will be extended from Henley town hall, where so many of his numerous fans from the South will be transported to the world of Phil Kelsall.”
The concert is due to be rounded off with a traditional Blackpool medley.
Tickets are priced £7 with concessions £6.50. Doors open at 2pm for a 3pm start.
