BACK to Bacharach celebrates the music of Burt Bacharach, one of the most accomplished popular composers of the 20th century.
This production has toured throughout the UK from September 2015 and it touches down at the Swan Theatre in High Wycombe next Friday (March 3) at 7.30pm.
It is performed by three of the finest West End singers accompanied by a live 10-piece band recreating Burt Bacharach’s timeless hits.
Songs featured in the show include Alfie, Anyone Who Had A Heart, Arthur’s Theme, Always Something There To Remind Me, Close To You, I Say A Little Prayer For You, Magic Moments, Walk On By, What’s New Pussycat? 24 Hours from Tulsa and Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head.
Back to Bacharach has now partnered with Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity, which supports research to help find a cure.
The production will be donating £1 from each theatre ticket sold and has committed to raise a minimum of £10,000 from the tour. Tickets are £25 (concessions £23).
The following night, Dire Straits tribute act, Money For Nothing, fronted by sound-alike Aled Williams. will take to the stage at 7.30pm.
The band will perform all of the best-known hits spanning five decades with the set-list including the likes of Money For Nothing, Sultans Of Swing, On Every Street, Love Over Gold, Lady Writer, Tunnel Of Love, Brothers In Arms, and Romeo and Juliet. Tickets are £26 (concessions £24).
