A PAIR of musicians who promise “beautiful music in beautiful places” bring their nationwide tour of village halls and small arts centres to Eye and Dunsden on April 8.
Kate Howden and Paul Jones are songwriters who have been travelling the length and breadth of the country playing their No Halls Barred tour at small venues.
The duo write about life and their observations of it — which they say are “often poignant, sometimes humorous”. They play a variety of instruments between them, including guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bodhran and banjo.
Tickets for the evening, on Tuesday April 8, are £10 and include a Ploughman’s supper. To pre-book call Beth Timms on 0118 947 0339, email dunsden firstname.lastname@example.org or buy them in person at Binfield Heath Stores.
