AN opera company will be performing in a barn in Fingest for the eighth year running to raise money for charity.
Diva Opera will be performing Rossini’s The Barber Of Seville on Sunday, September 8 and Verdi’s La Traviata on Sunday, September 15.
Money raised will be donated to Helen and Douglas House in Oxford, and the David Baum International Foundation.
Diva Opera was founded in 1996, and since then has given more than 1,000 performances of 40 different operas and concert programmes in locations across Europe and the UK. The company is widely recognised for its high standard of performance and employs established singers as well as talented young professionals.
Organiser Syliva Crowther said: “Our beautiful barn at Manor Farm provides a wonderful intimate setting for an audience of 200 people. We provide tables and chairs in a marquee on the courtyard beside the barn for picnics in the extended interval.”
Some tickets are still available. For more information visit www.fingestgreatbarnopera.co.uk or call Sylvia Crowther on (01491) 638474.
