A DUO who made their names on BBC talent show The Voice are to open a new tour at the Nettlebed Village Club on Monday.

Matt and Sueleen made it to the last 16 on the 2012 show, and were mentored by Tom Jones, who said: “I think they are fantastic.” The pair, who have been performing together for the past eight years, were also inspired by another of the show’s stars, Will.i.am, who said: “When you guys are putting out music of your own, and touring and writing songs that are yours, I just can’t wait to see that.”

The pair have been playing summer festivals and gigs throughout this year, and are preparing to release their debut album One By One.

They will play with Bellowhead’s Benji Kirkpatrick at the Nettlebed Club on Monday. For tickets and more information call 01628 636620 or visit www. nettlebedfolkclub.co.uk
