Joint opera evening

GARSINGTON Opera will collaborate with the Royal Shakespeare Company for the first time for their 2015 season.

GARSINGTON Opera will collaborate with the Royal Shakespeare Company for the first time for their 2015 season.

Together they will perform an abridged version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Mendelssohn’s incidental music.

In addition they will perform three new productions Mozart’s Così fan tutte (sung in Italian), Intermezzo by Richard Strauss and Death in Venice by Benjamin Britten (both sung in English).

The performances will take place between June 5 and July 26 at Wormsley.
