AN aspiring singer from Chazey Heath needs votes to secure her first single release on iTunes.

Chloe Golding, 18, wants to build up a following of 2,500 likes on Facebook before releasing If I Had to Choose.

She recorded the track at the studio of record producer Andy Whitmore in London.

The lyrics were taken from a poem written by her manager Chris Meredith.

She said: “The song is really beautiful. It’s the type of music I like to sing — quite emotional and with a bit of a story to it.

“Andy is an amazing composer. I spent about seven hours recording with him in the studio. The whole process was incredible and the song is out of this world. I hope it connects with people”

Chloe, who is training to be a member of cabin crew with British Airways, has been performing since she was a child.

She is a former pupil of Peppard Primary School, Langtree School in Woodcote and The Henley College, where she studied performing arts and won a prize for drama at the college’s annual education awards. She is also a member of the singing group JC4Me.

She said: “I’ve been performing my whole life, doing plays and music recitals.

“My real passion was to do musical theatre but after college I thought I would take a gap year and see what happened.”
