MEMORABLY hailed as “quite possibly the world’s most beautiful female voice” by Q Magazine, folk singer Cara Dillon

MEMORABLY hailed as “quite possibly the world’s most beautiful female voice” by Q Magazine, folk singer Cara Dillon plays Cornerstone in Didcot tonight (Friday).

Whether she’s singing her native traditional songs of lost love and emigration, or original compositions, music lovers will be hard pressed to find a more emotive and captivating performer.

Celebrated for entwining traditional and contemporary elements she has earned both commercial success and astonishing critical acclaim.

Recent years have seen Cara return wholeheartedly to her Irish roots creating fresh interpretations of traditional standards with stunning results.

The gig at Cornerstone is topped off with support from Oxfordshire singer-songwriter Jess Hall, who Cornerstone visitors will remember seeing when she headlined a café bar gig in February. She also performed at last year’s Beer and Music Festival.

Stage time is 8pm. Tickets are £20 (concessions £18) and can be booked by calling 01235 515144 or online at www.cornerstone-arts.org
