Messiah is at church

A DRAMATIC staging of Handel’s

A DRAMATIC staging of Handel’s

Messiah
is coming to Watlington on Saturday (November 14) at 7.30pm

St Leonard’s Church is hosting a highly acclaimed touring production by the Merry Opera Company.

The dramatisation sees 12 strangers seek spiritual comfort in their struggle to understand the world. Singing together in a church, they inspire each other to pick up the ragged ends of their faith and look to the future with hope.

Watlington’s rector, the Rev Christopher Evans, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for people to attend a high-calibre production in a beautiful setting without having to travel to Oxford or London.”

Tickets at £18 can be purchased from Watlington post office or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/ stleonardschurch
