Massed voices

About 130 children took part in a choral concert at the Christ Church Centre in Reading Road, Henley.

About 130 children took part in a choral concert at the Christ Church Centre in Reading Road, Henley. The year four children from Badgemore, Valley Road, Trinity and Sacred Heart primary schools put on two performances. Each school performed its own piece. The Badgemore children sang Katy Perry’s Roar while Valley Road performing We’re All In This Together from High School Musical. They also performed two songs together — Our Voices Unite, which was written for the rugby world cup, and Clean Bandit’s Rather Be. The annual event, which is now in its third year, is organised by charity the Henley Educational Trust. Trustee Amanda Heath said: “The kids just rise to the occasion and they love performing. In the second concert especially you can see how their confidence growing.” The trust provides educational support for needy families in the Henley area
