DESPITE widespread flooding in and around Henley in January, it wasn’t unusually wet or cold.

DESPITE widespread flooding in and around Henley in January, it wasn’t unusually wet or cold.

It rained or snowed on 20 days, totalling 57mm. This compares with 48.6mm of rainfall in the South-East in January last year but 99.5mm in 2011.

There were 16 air frosts compared with an average of 11 last year, and temperatures ranged from -10C to 13C.
