A TALK on the impact of climate change throughout history will be held at a retreat house near Frieth tonight (Friday March 22).
Dr Jill Eyers, an archaeologist who has featured in the BBC series Digging for Britain in relation to the discoveries concerning a Roman villa excavation at Hambleden, will be at St Katharine’s in Parmoor at 7.30pm.
In her presentation, named Shaping the Chilterns and Us - Ice Age to Iron Age, she will talk about how climate change throughout this period impacted on the area and the people who live within it to the present day.
