A rambling course

A ONE-day course to help walkers and ramblers make the most of the countryside will be held in Henley

A ONE-day course to help walkers and ramblers make the most of the countryside will be held in Henley on February 24.

Participants will learn about map scales, grid references, contours, symbols, compass bearings and estimating the time it will take to do a walk. The course, which is organised by the Chiltern Society, starts at Red Kite Cottage in Fawley at 10am. It costs £6 for members of the society and £10 for non-members.
