Directing walkers

RESIDENTS are being asked to help identify popular walking routes in Henley.

RESIDENTS are being asked to help identify popular walking routes in Henley.

The town council wants to install signs on public rights of way to encourage more people to use them.

The signs, which cost about £50 each, would be used in addition to the existing waymarking signs installed by Oxfordshire County Council.

The council has already approached the Chiltern Society for help in deciding which walks to signpost and plans to consult the Open Spaces Society and Henley in Bloom.

Residents who would like to contribute should call Becky Walker on (01491) 630076 or email b.walker@henleytowncouncil.gov.uk
