MEMBERS of Crazies Hill and Cockpole Green Residents’ Association collected 10 bags of rubbish during a village litter pick at the weekend.

The annual event, which is organised by Wokingham Borough Council, involved 10 volunteers.

Most of the litter was found in Bowsey Woods and Culham Lane and committee member Rita McLaughlin Pugh said she suspected it had been thrown from cars.

“We’re concerned that there should be so much,” she added.
