THE Open Spaces Society has launched a photographic competition to mark its 150th anniversary

THE Open Spaces Society has launched a photographic competition to mark its 150th anniversary.

The categories are commons, greens, paths, enjoyment, landscapes, historic and open. Images must have been taken in England and Wales. The closing date is September 30.

There will be prizes for the category winners and the overall winner.

The society, which is based in Bell Street, Henley was founded in 1865 and is Britain’s oldest conservation body, campaigning to protect common land, village greens and open spaces.
