Allotments fees go up

THE cost of renting an allotment in Henley is to rise by about 3.7 per cent.

THE cost of renting an allotment in Henley is to rise by about 3.7 per cent.

This means a 10-pole plot will cost £42.50, up from £41, and a five-pole plot will cost £21.50, up from £21.

The rise was agreed by the council’s recreation and amenities committee under delegated powers.

The Henley Allotments Association supported the increases, which will come into force from September next year.
