Conservation groups linked

TWO organisations involved in protecting and improving the Chilterns have signed an agreement pledging to work

TWO organisations involved in protecting and improving the Chilterns have signed an agreement pledging to work closer together.

The Chilterns Conservation Board, which manages the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the Chiltern Society, a charity with hundreds of volunteers maintaining and improving paths, woodlands and heritage sites, were both founded 50 years ago.

The groups have signed the Chilterns Accord, which commits them to work together on initiatives that will conserve, promote and enhance the area’s countryside and heritage.
