TWO roads in Wargrave will be closed next month for maintenance work.

Kentons Lane will be shut to traffic between its junctions with the A321 Wargrave Road and Hatch Gate Lane from December 3 for up to three days.

A diversion will run along the A321 Wargrave Road, Wargrave Hill, Crazies Hill, Hatch Gate Lane and Kentons Lane (northerly section) and in reverse.

Beer Lane will be closed from its junction with Blakes Lane on December 6 and is expected to re-open the following day.

There is no alternative route as Bear Lane is a no-through road.


Wokingham Borough Council says is contractors will ensure residents will have access throughout the works.
