A CHRISTMAS fund-raising fair was held at Crazies Hill Primary School.
Children met Santa and his reindeer and enjoyed pony rides, while their parents bid for framed photographs from events such as the London Olympics in a silent auction.
There was also archery, a raffle, festive food, Christmas puddings and stalls.
Headteacher Eileen Holmes said: “There was a wonderful atmosphere and we’ve got a huge amount of support from parents, friends and staff organising the fair.”
She said the proceeds would help fund extra activities such as a school multicultural week.
Andrew Cardy, who brought the reindeer from his farm in Twyford, said: “The kids loved it and were stroking and playing with them. There’s something quite mystical about reindeer and children get very excited when they are shown them.”
