THESE people are wanted in connection with a series of shoplifting offences.
Police have released CCTV images of the suspects in the hope that Henley Standard readers will come forward to identify them.
One image shows a man who is wanted in connection with a handbag theft at Waitrose in Henley.
He was seen taking the bag and a purse from an elderly woman’s trolley at about 10am on August 20. The thief is described as being in his mid-40s, 5ft 4in with mousey hair and going thin on top. He was wearing a dark blue/black hooded jacket or top and dark brown trousers and had glasses.
Police said he is suspected of stealing from elderly women at other Waitrose stores.
The second image shows a woman suspected of stealing steak and cheese from the Co-op in Woodcote at 6pm on September 4.
She was seen to conceal the food in her handbag before leaving the store in Bridle Path without paying. She then walked across the car park and shouted to “Jack” that she needed 10p. A white pick-up truck with wood panels at the back then picked her up and drove off.
The woman is described as about 20 with her hair in a bun and wearing a green tank top and carrying a bag with a striped jumper on top.
The third and fourth images show two men suspected of stealing 14 packets of sirloin steak worth £83.30 from the Co-op store in Sonning Common at 7pm on August 20. The men were seen stuffing the meat into a rucksack and their jackets and left the shop without paying.
One was a black man in his mid-30s, 6ft 2in, of medium build with a shaved head. He was wearing a dark green jacket with a black T-shirt with a Thorpe Park logo on it and basketball-style black and white trainers and was carrying a dark green rucksack.
The second man was in his mid-40s, 5ft 11in, of medium build with brown gelled hair. He was wearing a black jacket, blue and white checked shirt, brown trousers and brown shoes.
