A SHOPLIFTER was caught on CCTV eating a stolen olive and baguette in a Henley supermarket.
Police said the teenager entered Waitrose at about 8.05pm on January 24 and picked up the food before eating it as he walked round the shop.
He then took two packs of sandwiches and was challenged by a member of staff so he ran towards the exit. He fell over and dropped the sandwiches before fleeing.
A minute later he returned and took a bottle of wine from a display near the entrance and left without paying.
The suspect was his late teens, about 5ft 9in, of slight build with blonde hair. He was wearing a dark anorak with a hood, dark blue jeans and blue trainers.
Police have also released a CCTV image of a man suspected of several thefts from Boots in Bell Street, Henley. The most recent offences happened on November 9 and New Year’s Eve.
The suspect was in his fifties, about 5ft 7in and slim. He was clean shaven and had short hair, greying on the sides and balding on top. Anyone with information about either case should call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number, 101.
