Town hall to host deli fayre
Published 14/04/14

A DELI fayre is to be held at Henley Town Hall.

Maison Artisan will take place on Saturday, April 26 from 11am to 4pm.

Twenty-four food and drink companies will showcase a range of products including fresh breads, cheese, oils, chocolate, cake, wine, beer, cider, jams, chutneys, teas and coffees.

Visitors will be able to sample and buy food on display.

Stand-holders include the Quince Tree in Stonor and the Loddon Brewery in Dunsden Green.

Charlotte Pudney, who has organised the event with Rebecca Crayford, said: “There are some wonderful artisan foods out there which, due to the huge marketing costs, never make it to the supermarket shelves.

“They’re produced by individuals and family-run businesses who all care tremendously about what they’re putting into people’s mouths.”

The event is being sponsored by the Quince Tree and Henley businesses Peers and Hilton and the Chocolate Café in Thames Side.
