STUDENTS and staff at The Henley College held an event to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion.
They attended displays from Amnesty International, the International Relations Discussion Group, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Group and the library.
The college’s Pathways department provided homemade cakes and lollipops and held a raffle. Live music was performed by music teacher Steve Morano and the Henley Headway Choir.
A representative from mental health charity MIND gave a talk on wellbeing.
Beryl Richardson, the college’s equality, diversity and inclusion manager, said: “This event was the first of its kind and proved to be a really good platform for the future.
“The event clearly demonstrates the diverse culture of the college and celebrates difference.”
Proceeds from the event were split between Pathways and MIND.
