Published 21/07/14

THE Mayor of Wokingham Borough cut a cake to open a tea dance at the Sunrise care home in Sonning.

Cllr UllaKarin [no space and cap K is correct] Clark was guest of honour at the event, which was organised as part of National Care Home Open Day.

Visitors sat down to chat with residents and there was a dance workshop run by the Denton Dancing and Social Club, from Reading.

Champagne, teas and soft drinks were served afterwards.

The home’s community relations director Maggie Griffith said: “Everyone has been really looking forward to it.”
