THE Henley Business School has launched a scholarship in partnership with an international ticket agent.
Students will be able to apply for the annual Ticketmaster Scholarship place on the MBA for the music and creative industries.
Ticketmaster will provide mentoring to the chosen student and work with them on scholarship projects.
Helen Gammons, a music industry expert, entrepreneur and Henley MBA programme director, said: “This partnership provides a unique opportunity for our students to become involved in a world-leading and and gain a unique insight into their business.”
Simon Presswell, Ticketmaster UK managing director, said: “Sponsoring the Ticketmaster Scholarship recognises the vital role that the creative industries play in growing the UK economy.”
According to the Confederation of British Industry, the creative industries contributes £36 billion a year to the economy, provide 1.5 million jobs and account for 10.6 per of UK exports.
