“Riding to be enjoyed not endured” is the motto behind riding instructor and eventer Giles Carradine who specialises in creating the perfect relationship between horse and rider.
With a quiet but positive approach Giles looks to increase both riders and horse’s confidence in helping them to achieve the results desired. Understanding the need for a happy horse and rider, Giles offers informed and effective instruction, either at his own yard, Huntercombe End Farm, just outside of Henley or at a venue of your choice.
Happy to teach at all levels, Giles has a wealth of experience which includes eventing, teaching locally, and coaching riding clubs, holding clinics in Yorkshire and at Osberton. As a trainer for the mounted police, he helps officers with the schooling of their horses to make them more manoeuvrable and responsive. Realising that all riders and horses are individuals, lessons are very much tailored with that in mind. Giles has the ability to quickly assess both rider and horse and set realistic goals to ensure progress is made, recognised and achieved.
