IT’S enough to make Sixties hippies give up their "wacky baccy".
Well-heeled fans at this summer’s Eighties Rewind Festival in Henley will be able to sleep in sumptuous Arabian-style tents.
For £5,000 plus VAT, you can have a luxurious canvas boudoir complete with hot tub, air-conditioned lavatory and a personal security guard.
You will also receive two VIP passes allowing access to the backstage bar so you can mix with the stars such as Kim Wilde, Sister Sledge and Go West. The tent will be sited in its own private enclave away from the other fans and campers.
Other luxuries include a hardwood floor, a double bed with feather duvet and pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets, a chaise longue and chandeliers and even a charging point for your mobile phone.
Organisers have teamed up with the Arabian Tent Company in a deal believed to be unique to the festival. They have dubbed it "glamping" — glamorous camping.
A Rewind spokeswoman said: "As far as we know this has never been done before at a pop festival." She would not say whether there had been any takers yet.
The festival is expected to attract more than 20,000 people to Temple Island Meadows at Remenham on August 21 and 23.
