A WOMENSWEAR shop in Henley has celebrated its 10th birthday.
Katharine Dent, owner of Frivolity in Hart Street, said: "It started out as Regatta Gowns in September 1999. I started it from home when I needed an evening dress and could not hire one anywhere.
"After six months we moved into a shop next to our present one in Hart Street and eventually stopped hiring dresses out and concentrated on selling them."
Mrs Dent, 45, of Valley Road, employs three full-time staff, including herself.
She said the decade had "flown by" but the shop’s success had taken a lot of hard work and it was always "challenging".
