ON Your Bike, Sonning Common’s annual fund-raising ride, is back for a fourth year.
The event, which is sponsored by the Standard, is designed to involve the whole community so the courses cater for people all ages and cycling abilities.
It will take place on Sunday, April 25 from 10.30am.
Organisers hope that 1,000 cyclists will take part this year — more than double last year’s total — and to raise £5,000 for Sonning Common Primary School and the Sue Ryder Care hospice at Nettlebed.
Penny Snowden, who chairs the school’s parent-teacher association, which organises On Your Bike, said: "It is a great family occasion and an opportunity to get those bikes out of the garage for their once-in-a-year airing as well doing some good for a local charity and school."
