A YOUTH and community project in Henley has launched a fund-raising appeal.
Nomad is creating an Olympic-themed supporters’ club for people who make a donation.
Members of the club will be awarded bronze, silver and gold for annual donations made for one, two or three years respectively.
They will also have their names put on a roll of honour at the club.
Barry Wood, a member of the management committee, said: “This will allow supporters to become part of an elite club and feel part of the Nomad family.”
The project will also produce a supporters’ club newsletter twice a year and hold an annual meeting and social evening.
There is no minimum amount for a donation but corporate gifts should be at least £500.
The campaign was launched at the project in the d:two centre in Market Place as part of its 16th birthday celebrations.
About 35 people attended, including Mayor Elizabeth Hodgkin and Janet Carr, who chairs South Oxfordshire District Council.
The guests were welcomed by Mr Wood before being taken on a tour of the centre where a £1,327,000 extension and refurbishment was finished in November.
